ResWare file is not linking

Check for these common resolutions to this error

Did you mark CertifID as a Partner?

If you are getting an error message that the ResWare file cannot be linked in CertifID, the most common issue is that CertifID is not marked as a "Partner" in the ResWare file. 

Double-check in ResWare that CertifID is added as a Partner. Once the file is set up properly, you should be able to link the file, see all individuals associated with the file, and ensure the final status PDF is uploaded correctly.

The file pre-dates the integration

If the file you are linking was created prior to your ResWare/CertifID Integration being setup, it won't be able to be linked. In this case you would need to send the request without linking the file. This is typically only an issue for newly integrated customers.


Check ResWare Server Version

The current minimum supported version of ResWare is version 9.1. If you're running an older version, please check with your ResWare administrator about updating your ResWare Server.

Check the CertifID Partner 'Employee' password in ResWare

Within your ResWare server, there is a CertifID Partner Employee which communicates with CertifID to sync the integration. On occasion, this employee can have their password expire, or this password can also get reset when there is an update to your ResWare server. Go into ResWare to update the password for the CertifID Partner Employee and then log into the CertifID Portal and click on the Integrations tab to enter the new password and confirm that they match.
